Agreed. Try another pub, go by yourself, you'll be okay.

I ironically found an autistic guy who sits on his own watching YouTube videos on current affairs. He's well respected in the pub but obviously he's a bit of a slow person to introduce himself. Doing the same in another pub might actually work out well.

In that very same pub, there's a second autistic guy who does everyone's head in. He asks for free beer. Smells like cheese, dresses in camo and hides behind flower pots half his size genuinely believing he's invisible and tried to flog me an S Club DVD while proclaiming his love for Hannah.

Weird the chalk and cheese difference. Being socially awkward and awkwardly social is a very real thing that jamsey, as do all autistics need to keep an eye on.

Sounds like an interesting place to have a drink.

I think if you to hang out at a different pub, things will get better for you.

man you gotta get a hobby...something you like doing and makes you feel good.

You are spending too much time at sh***y bars...like what do you want in life, and does just giong out to bars even satisfy it? LIke man you gotta find a hobby aside fron drinking....and you could meet more cool people that way. I probably drink too much too so I get it, that said most of my excessive drinking occurs when I am safe at home and I don't have to be embarrassed because I am not in public.

Like I wasted most of my 20's trying to hang out at bars....it seemed fun for a while, but if you'r a genuine person who wants a real realationship....a bar ain't the place to find it usually like you could get lucky but...nah bars are not a great place to meet potential relationship partners.

Sure me and my boyfriend first met in person at a bar, but we had talked previously and it was a metal themed bar we both liked so we figured meeting up there for the first in person date would be cool.

Yeah but we all have the power to change things!! !

We NO LONGER have to feel like a victim to our circumstances!

I have chosen to pull myself out of my situation by going to Day Program

Changes in my personal life are beginning to happen!

By next Valentine's Day we could all be with our lovers on date nights and we could be making love to them as well

Hey are you alright jamesy...I don't mean to be too harsh but you should maybe stop going to the pub so much, like idk if you developed a bad reputation there even if you didn't mean to, may just be better to go somwhere else, and start over with maybe tips people here have given you.

It's not fair but sometimes its better to just not keep going to a place where you burnt bridges, people aren't always as forgiving as they should be and I don't know or care what all you did to piss them off....but maybe your best option is just to piss off from that bar and find another one where they don't know you yet and you could make a better impression there...but otherwise find some non bar activities or crafts or something so you arent spending all your free time at bars.
