In an act of pure utter selfishness a GOP politician who was made use of IVF herself was active in trying to ban it for other women.

https://newrepublic.com/post/179264/rep ... ivf-ruling

Michelle Steel twice signed onto the Life at Conception Act – a total abortion ban with no exceptions, even in cases of rape, incest, or when the life of the woman is at stake. This Steel-sponsored legislation would also impose similar restrictions on IVF and fertility treatments as the Alabama Supreme Court ruling.

What she failed to disclose to her support base is that she herself took advantage of IVF. What a low life.

Pulling the ladder up behind them is GOP 101.
