Hi. I am a 24 year old man in Australia, Victoria. I have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder medium functioning professionally and I receive a Disability Pension for it, so I am unemployed. I believe in my diagnosis in that I am indeed different to the people that consist the world and my country. I am isolated I have no friends I don't have a relationship. I haven't at all talked to anyone ever meaningfully. I believe it is because of my Autism. I have a poor way of chit chat and getting and maintaining friends. I have been having a rigid and extremely fixated interest (internet addiction) which has effected my life, I had no interest in education or employment or relationships, so my life turned out naturally with zero going on at all. So my life is as such and it's quite sad and difficult I confess with zero going on. It's what I have to manage and experience as a person alive.

Is that how you wish to live the rest of your life or do you want more?

We may not in fact be broken but rather different. Although we possess weaknesses in many areas, we also possess some special skills. Each of our skills are different. I possess an acute sense of smell for example. This is far beyond normal. So if you wish to move out of your shell, you might begin to define your special skills, find ways to use these skills and get back into the Game of Life.
