I feel embarrassed that I have to say it in my bio and that's the only thing that's in my bio.

Saying "I'm a demigirl" and that's it in my bio is just embarrassing

You can get rid of female, since you have that selected for gender, and put Demgirl/Demiboy in your signature if you want.

I don't quite understand how that's embarrassing, but I'm sorry you feel that way.

Apologies for late response.

For a long time we were stuck with just the two options. When we got a second, more active admin a couple of years ago, he realised he could add the NB option.

I don't think we're likely to go further, because there are a lot of different ways to conceptualise the gender spectrum and a lot of possible gender identities. At the moment the priority is keeping things from becoming too cluttered or overwhelming. That said, if lots of people have this issue I'm sure Cornflake would be open to improving things further.

The current options might not be a perfect fit for everybody, especially with "non-binary" being such a blanket term, but hopefully they're largely good enough. Think of it like the most convenient place to declare your preferred pronouns out of he/she/they - which obviously is no good if those aren't your preferred pronouns, or you have multiple preferences.
