Trash Bags

When you put clothes, towels, pajamas & etc. in a trash bag, is it a good idea to buy labels that way you know what in it? Or just write on it with a sharpie pen?

I assume these are going into storage so they probably don't need a fancy label

I agree with tape and sharpie. The sharpie right on the bag will smear right off. If the tape won't stick, you can loop it around the top of the bag to itself and label like that.
