Oh no!! Our prison slave labor force is getting too old! We need to step up the war on crime! Get some fresh young meat into those chains! Yay! Slavery! Mass imprisonment! Imprisonment for private profit! What a free society we live in. Truly, only Americans can appreciate the importance of freedom and small government! Not like those dumb non-Americans who imprison way less of their population like a bunch of anti-freedom commies!

Other places also have to live with a rising population age and this is also the most cited reason in Europe and elsewhere of the need for inward migration.

To be fair, the US prison system is known to be a place for unpaid labour and corporations who profit from the prison system.

Europe is indeed generally better for prisoners, apart from maybe Russia? Compared to the US.

I admit our legal system sucks and is corrupt as hell. It's basically designed to keep certain people in prison for life with no hope of ever making it once they get released.

Plus in our system the ultra rich and powerful can get away with anything. Look at Donald Trump not to mention people like Bill Cosby, Kevin Spacey, and O. J. Simpson.

But even knowing this I would still take our system over this diagusting s**t any time.
