This is 100% not true.

I was going to say the same thing but that made me think of a dog that I still miss terribly and I got a little depressed. Is it weird that I get more attached to animals than to people?

A dog will definitely pre-wash your dishes for you. Happily.

Jamesy, it's so obvious that a dog can't be considered "a substitute for a real romantic relationship" I'm surprised you feel a need to ask.

Is Jamesy asking us about dogs Vs girls OR whether he can trust his parent's advice? or both?
I think he just wants some re-assurance.
