I suspect this isn't going to get very far this time around, but it does seem like a good idea. Happier workers generally makes more productive workers. Too bad we couldn't have had Bernie Sanders for president.

This was from a few years ago in Germany. Workers were given the option of working 5 8 hour days or 4 10 hour days. The deciding factor was workers were told they had to maintain the same level of productivity if they chose the 10 hour day option. Productivity actually increased. This just illustrates happy workers equals greater productivity. Workers liked having 3 day weekends every week vs. working fewer hours each day. I personally feel 32 hours a week is not the answer; you have to be pro-worker and pro-business.
