I doubt it since we have one Krispy Kreme and a bunch of McDonald's. How are they going to bake & distribute them? Highly doubtful they'll make them fresh at every McDonald's.

McDonald's food is.. not food. And has gotten very expensive for what it is. (almost everything has, but there's nothing inexpensive about mcd's anymore - they haven't even had their $1.39 menu for years now.. a cheeseburger is $3.59 + tax. I mean, it's one thing to be drunk and eat mcd's.. it's entirely another to spend $25 there wtf.

And so, they grasp at straws offering sugary donuts. Good luck to them and their shareholders, I suppose.

When Krispy kreme first came to Melbourne the queues were like this

Yeah, that happened here, too.. then subsided. They opened a couple more stores I think.. which have shut down and only the original location still exists. There's one here - the only other 2 that pop up on google maps are South of the border in Washington State somewhere.

Same, they shutdown once the hooplah subsided. In the early days some young people were even flying from Melbourne to Sydney to buy krispy kreme when the first store opened in Sydney airport

Now you can only buy them in 7-11

Ewwww I hate Krispy Kreme.

I've only had it once but it was mucky and way too sweet.

I have never tried a Krispy Kreme doughnut before.

I had one in Nashville. They should call them Mucky Kreme, imo.

I like the word 'mucky'. Not its meaning, just the way it sounds/reads.

I like Krispy Kreme better than Dunkin', but Dunkin is closer.

Plus both have to compete with Shipley's, a regional chain.

I should really eat more doughnuts

I've read they use un-sold mass produced donuts to farmed fish causing it (the fish) to contain high levels of saturated ans trans fats when it shouldn't contain any.

Their doughnuts are ok but nothing special IMO. Usually, I find local bakeries tend to have better stuff.

In Melbourne Daniel's donuts is most popular with long queues now for years
