Henlo!

I frequently find myself searching for information about autism and how to navigate its impact on my life. I was bored at work--Googling something about being an autistic individual in an office setting, when I stumbled upon this forum! I can't believe I never saw this page before! ʕ ˵• ₒ •˵ ʔ

My partner (also ND) and I often describe ourselves as creatures, or robots from a different planet, so Wrong Planet really struck home for me.

Anyways, I figured I would pop in and say henlo! ʕ•ᴥ•ʔﾉ♡ I would love to hear your spooky/romance/fantasy book recommendations, or some animal factoids in the comments!

Thank you! That is much appreciated. It's pretty rough out there trying to exist in an office ʕ´•ᴥ•`ʔ. I just want to make my moneyz and go home! Our office constantly has parties and social gatherings that are an introvert's nightmare.

I will probably make a post in one of the school/work discussion boards, so I'll most likely see you in there sometime ^w^

OMG I did not know that they have 5 eyes! That's 3 more than me.

I agree, the name "Wrong Planet" is wonderful. My bride found WP and told me about it and the name immediately made sense to me.

I would've gone with "Twilight Zone" but I'm old enough to have watched it when Rod Serling hosted. Plus, there could be intellectual property issues using that name.

Hmmm...spooky/romance/fantasy book recommendations...not my genre but here:

<=>The Exorcist is incredibly good...I think it is markedly better than The Exorcist

As for animal factoids, hmmmm... owls have one ear higher than the other, which allows them to better hear exactly where a sound is coming from.
Also, snakes don't have ears at all, but they "hear" by feeling vibrations in the ground.
I guess I'm obsessed with ears.
