Is this likely to set itself straight any time soon?

It's been happening fairly randomly for an hour or so. How long should I tolerate it before contacting an administrator? Or have I already done that by posting it here?

So how do we get those squirrels from causing these errors?

I'll let Alex know - just as soon as I get a window without errors.

As others have said, retrying whatever caused the error to pop up usually works.

I also found opening the button you're clicking in another tab works as well

Intermittent fault, very hard to know when it's really fixed unless we get an announcement from the Church Fathers. I had problems like this with Invidious when YouTube were trying to break it. It was up and down like a yo-yo and I wasted hours inquiring about it and finding workarounds that half worked. I should have just gone off and done something else for a day or so.

I've been getting this too. For me it seems to happen a lot in bursts so it's better if I wait a while & then try again.

That's probably easier than the "back button and retry" method for most operations. One exception may be when submitting a long post. If I refresh the page then, the browser says it can't do it unless it re-sends the data, which makes me think it might eat the post. Probably PTSD from the "Cloudflare ate my post" days, haven't experimented further. Always wise to copy post to clipboard before sending, though it's a couple more extra steps.

Getting worse. Now at times, it takes three or four tries to successfully load or post to a thread
