Invisible profile picture

I keep trying to upload a picture for my pfp, but it always ends up as a white box with a tiny blue question mark in the middle.
I have tried resizing the image, and using forum photo upload links, but with no luck.

How do I make my pfp visible?

What size do you have it, and did you click the box to delete the current one?

Come to think of it I don't think you need an upload link.

Try doing it straight from your desktop in jpeg.

An avatar is the only instance where a file is actually uploaded from your device to WP - all other image usage requires a link to the image on an image sharing site such as Imgur etc.

The maximum dimensions for an avatar can sometimes be tricky to achieve - max width: 130 pixels, height: 160 pixels, file size: 3719.87 KiB.

If you get stuck PM me a link to your image (it will therefore need to be sourced on an image sharing site) and I'll tweak it to fit and add it as your avatar.
