What do you guys here think of Death Metal? Right now I am listening to the new Severe Torture album Torn From The Jaws Of Death. My favorite Death Metal band is The Black Dahlia Murder. (RIP Trevor) Some other favorites of mine include Sinister, Bloodbath, Suffocation, Atheist, Morbid Angel, Carnage, Molested, Immolation, Disgorge (US) Demigod, and Blood Red Throne.

I enjoy a bit of slam and BDM. I'm more into grindcore and PV though.

Many years ago, I went to Heavy Metal live performances. The music was so loud that I believe that it damaged my hearing. So several years later, I had to begin to wear hearing aids because I had almost become deaf. Still a problem even though I wear a top-of-the-line hearing aid that cost around 5 grand.

As far as death metal goes I like Suffocation, Devourment, Demolition Hammer, The County Medical Examiners, Vomit Remnants, Mortician, Skinless, Rotting, etc.

Along with Agathocles, Dahmer, f**k I'm Dead, etc if that stuff is close enough to count.

I don't like melodeath or techdeath.

Love Cryptopsy. I prefer Lord Worm over the other vocalists.
