How do I appreciate and enjoy being on my own ?

There are times when I do enjoy doing things on my own when its hobbies at home or going out somewhere on my own but there are times if I think too much about being on my own and thinking to myself, ''I probably shouldn't be still single by now.'' or whatever and worrying that that ''everyone else'' has got someone or some friends in the lives to go out with and I'm the only one, it leaves me feeling at times where I can't really enjoy doing the things I do at home and struggle to concentrate on it. Sometimes I get self conscious when I'm out somewhere and its a weekend and I'm walking around people who look as if there have more friends than me or have partner with them, but I don't know what's going on in those peoples' lives. There have been times when I've been telling myself when I'm off work, to do things alternately where I have one day indoors and then the next, go out somewhere but nearly all days I spend indoors.

Nothing wrong with being on your own mate. Just enjoy the silence.
