In January 14, 1973, the Miami Dolphins won Super Bowl VII. They won every game that season and became the first and only football team to win a perfect season. Since then, many teams have tried and failed. Some teams came close, but choked so as not to tempt fate. The football season has gotten longer since 1972-1973 and so the chances of winning a perfect season are astronomical getting further and further out of reach. We may never live to see another perfect season. The world of perfection remains with a very small population.
