Okay that explains it. He used to be 5ft10 and only 155 lbs but now has put lots of muscle
I'd figure his weight isn't consistent enough day-to-day to know exactly what he weighed before or what he weighs now.
Before he bulked up he might have had days above 155 or days below 155, now he has days around 175 and some approaching 185, but maybe he only hits 185 before he's gone poop.
In general people give ranges when they're not certain what the exact amount is, so assuming they mean the median of the range estimate is falsely assuming a higher degree of precision than actually exists.
