Natural Gas in Palestine

I heard an unsubstantiated rumour that Palestine has vast untapped natural gas reserves. If this is the case it could explain why Israel wants to push the Palestinians out of Palastine. It could be that it has little to do with preventing acts of terrorism.

If Israel succeeds in their plan they could make a lot of money from resources that aren't rightfully theirs. The Isealies may have been promised a land of milk and honey but they weren't promised any natural gas.
