Are tall men precieved to be more threatening in sometimes in social situations and thus are treated differently (sometimes in an unfair way)

Some people might think they're being funny by asking, "How's the weather up there?" but most people think it's good for men to be tall.

My brother is tall, and we've been playfully teasing him about it for years.

Patently.
It can be obvious that I'm being reevaluated when I stand up from a table.
Standing up in front of an aggressive guy I can see their eyes change as I pass their level.
This is about when I wake up on the floor spitting blood.
Being tall has lots of advantages, but watch out for short guys with an embedded shoulder chip.

in a sense it’s not worth thinking about because you can’t change your height.

People generally look up to us, and look down on short men.

At gigs I sometimes kneel to chat to women as it saves their necks and I'm not automatically peering down cleavage.
Bouncers tend to take a dim view of this and will tell me to stand, but as my head passes theirs and keeps rising they often tell me to kneel again :D
