where can i get one? ive looked all over, and cant find one. i dont want this thread to turn into politics,. please. i dont want anything paul said, or anyone else. only jesus. thanks

It might only run for 20 pages, and might get lost under the sofa.

you sound as if his disciples had more important things to say. regardless, i dont want a mans opinion on how i should live.

His disciples/apostles seem to have been quoting (or misquoting) him in virtually every book, and there may be no real record of what he actually said. If that is true, 20 pages might just about do it.

even if anything he said was a fairy tail, im no gambling man. (i dont play around with my life eternally) ive read ALOT of books about jesus that were included in the bible and left out of it. i gotta say hes god imo

I have heard it said, that the Christen religon could have survived if only the sermon on the mount had been known. I have never heard of the type of book that you might want. Interesting to know why there might not be. Just never had thought about it.

Well, do you mean you'd like a Bible that gives "Lazaris, arise" and nothing re the circumstances? I'm trying to figure out how that would go. You'd have to leave out the miracles, I think. Not much point to quoting "Fill these with water and bring them to the master of the house" without mentioning that He's at a wedding in Cana.

Have you looked at a Concordance Table? I used to try to get Matthew, Mark, Luke & John to agree about what Jesus said, but it never worked out for me.

If you have a Bible you can make such a book on your own.

and jesus said, at the beggining and whatever he sais after that over and over again. but im in a writing mood so maybe i'll just copy down everything he said. and im not worried about missing parts, ive heard all the storys so i basically know what he talking about

Some Bibles I've own had the words of Jesus and God in red letters. I think its been reported Thomas Jefferson made a personal edited of the bible to only include the words of Jesus.

Remember, of course, that the words of the
bible are (at best) Jesus' words remembered
quite long after his death. The earliest possible
date for a gospel - that of Thomas at about 40
AD, didn't even make it into the NT. The earliest
their is probably about 60 - 70 AD, a good 30 years
after his death. How likely are those words to be
correctly remembered? Especially when there are
contradictions?
