I love all animals (imagine that!) but cats are my favorite - in fact, I am rather ambigous about dogs - I don't dislike them, but I wouldn't keep one in my house . . .

When I was a kid I thought I was half cat . . . I still haven't totally abandoned this idea and have considered titiling my book 'The history of the catpeople' or something like that . . .
Here is the web site that proves all cats are autistic . . .
http://www.spacehost.us/~aliki/autism/autiecats.html

I found out today that my rat breeded mis-sexed (can I use that word on here? - I mean gender, not the act itself) one of my new rats so we will be having a litter of eepers - hairless eepers at that . . . it is sort of fun and this breeder is going to feel SOOOOO bad that I know she will help me find homes for them . . .

Mum's allergic to both unfortunately  The only pets I remember having were a pair of really cute gerbils from about 5th grade or so. When I get a place big enough for em I'll probably want to own a cat or two, just easier to take care of em and they'd make me feel better about my own laziness

If I *could* have a cat, though, I have a sneaking suspicion that it might look summat like this:

Dogs. Apart from little yappy ratlike things.

I don't have anything against cats particularly, other than that they kill all the wildlife round here, but I'm allergic anyway. I have a dog because cats can't bark loudly enough to deter burglars/vandals, are too fragile to 'play' with a toddler, and are usually too intelligent to be trustworthy... :P

I'm allergic to cats but f**k that, they're cute and they're getting pounced anyway!

now, THIS is MY sort of cat!

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/e ... educed.jpg

it's a maine coon - HUGE things (the one on the left is a normal-sized cat). have always had psychopathic felines, so one this size should be great fun. and, apparently, they get very attached to just one person, so the potential for training up an Attack Cat is great!

by the way - can someone PLEEEEEASE tell me how to put images in posts?

First you need to upload your pic to something like ImageShack (http://www.imageshack.com)
Then once you've done that, you type:
