I thought this article was going to be about him resigning the VP situation, sorry everyone.

However, it's clear why he's doing this, he wouldn't be able serve the people of Ohio and be VP at the same time.

Gawd one could have only hoped he would have resigned the race for vp ......Would of have had hope for a chance for the Country ? . One wonders if Vance has some plans for a Christian version of Sharia law, for the USA.

Yup. It's my theory that Vance was unelectable directly as president, but Project 2025 got their apostle in via Trump. In two years, I expect Trump will be sectioned out, and President Vance will get the residue two years of the term, plus more if he wins future elections.

May not get Gilead level Charia Law, but it'll be at a noticeable level. Especially the hypocrisy of what they want to do to reproductive health.

Vance won his senate seat in 2022 by about 5% if I recall. Given Ohio is a red state, he would have likely been the favorite in 2028, when his term was up. His replacement, John Husted was the lt.governor and was in the state legislature prior to that. Actually, Husted is from the region where I live, I'm about an hour away from Montpelier Ohio.

The VP is also President of the Senate and can cast a vote in case of a draw. So it's no big deal.
