We seem to love cats. I'm guilty as well. I'm a big cat fan. It's funny that so many others on here are too. Any explanation?

If you don't have a cat then you don't have AS. True fact.

All cats are autistic - there is even a web site out there proving it - I'd have to look on my computer at home to figure out what the site is, though . . .

I actually tell people that if they will treat me the way that they would treat a house cat they will be doing the right thing and people comment that my three cats don't act like cats - but they do - they just act toward humans the way they normally would toward another cat . . . since their human is autistic and acts more like a cat than a human

What I think is funny about this is that the first thing I got sent to a psychiatrist for when I was maybe 6 years old is that I told my teacher that I wasn't human - that I was half cat and half human . . . after years of therapy and medication I still don't own up to being fully human and like cats better than humans - there's some money and time well spent

Re-read your statements. I'm bored with this argument.

I remembered I loved cats a lot when I was 10 but not a big fan of them anymore but Calicos are my favorite. If something happened to my cat, I'd never replace her but I'd get another Calico. Unfortunately I can't have her right now. Does that mean I’m cured? :)
I can read her body language better than anyone else.

Just because you don't have a cat doesn't mean you can't have AS. My last boyfriend had it and he didn't have any pets.

Who knows they may play a role in turning on AS gene expression.
