I don't have a favourite one as such, but several I like.
I like Pslam 139 as I feel it speaks about the diversity of human kind in creation and encompasses neurodiversity as well.
You know when I sit and when I rise;
you perceive my thoughts from afar.
You discern my going out and my lying down;
you are familiar with all my ways.
You hem me in behind and before,
and you lay your hand upon me.
For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place,
when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
Your eyes saw my unformed body;
all the days ordained for me were written in your book
I also like Isaiah 43
But now, this is what the Lord says—
he who created you, Jacob,
he who formed you, Israel:
“Do not fear, for I have redeemed you;
I have summoned you by name; you are mine.
When you pass through the waters,
I will be with you;
1 Corinthians 6 I like as it speaks to us about why we as Christians need to keep our Temple of the Holy Spirit Holy.
I also like Luke 16 which speaks about a need for purity in our lives.
Jeremiah 1
I like this as it speaks about us being created for a reason.
The word of the Lord came to me, saying,
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart;
In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will.
I also like Ezekiel 37:17 and I decided to try what was written about joining two sticks together to reunite the members in the body.
I must say since last week I have been healed of that issue I was having and I feel much better and the sensory processing is working well again.
I also like 2Kings 2:11 as it depitcs God being on wheels, and some people with a disability use this to say God perhaps himself has a disability. God is perfect whether he has a disability or not, he is complete perfection. I like it though given my disability that he is on wheels, it makes it even more closer as well to my own situation in life. With our imperfections when can be complete enough as well. You can see where it is quoted from the picture in the text. .
I love also Exodus 7 as it speaks about the magical rod of God consuming all the evil serpents with his majestic power.
I also love the Ten Commandments they are God rules.
I love also Levititus 18 as it shows how pure and Holy God is.
I love the love the Beautitudes of Christ in Matthew 5.
The Jacob story and God hitting Jacob's hip and meeting God and struggling used to be firm favourite of mine.
I love Psalm 27 as it talks about talks about walking in the light
I also love Psalm 51 for deep repetance
I also love Psalm 80 when looking for mercy and the light of God.
I also love the Our Father in Matthew 6 for the simplicity
I also love the Parable of the Talents Matthew 25:14-30, and the lampstand Matthew 5-14.
It goes beyond this-the locusts story and much more, but I will end it then.
