Hello everyone!

I am Planter, I have for a long time suspected myself of having ADHD, and quite possibly being in the ASD based on diagnoses in my youth. I've joined this forum following the advice of a self-help book and a desire to ameliorate - or even make use of - my neurodivergence.
If anyone here could share resources you've used learn more of Autism, I'd be quite grateful.

A pleasure to meet you all :)

Poaceae Planter, Welcome to Wrong Planet.

One thing about us is that we can develop very special interest. I dug a little deeper and found out that one of your special interest is lichens. That is very unusual interest. I suggest you look deeper into a condition called Asperger's Syndrome.

Welcome to WP! I hope you like it here.

I found the Internet to be a wonderful resource for learning about Autism (and other neurodivergences, as well).

...except, of course, if you are looking for a formal Adult Autism Assessment. For that, see a professional.

(I used AQ to get an informal assessment. I figured I'd better get one of them before I spent money on a formal one.)

I did not take that into account, I wanted a name that had something to do with plants and alliterated. Oops

A cursory look at the ICD-10 Classification leads me to think that Asperger's Syndrome may be present. Sadly I'm a bit too busy at the moment for an in-depth research. Nonetheless, thank you for your recommendation.
