He was a pope that was a hand that reached out.

The next pope shall be a sword that condemns and strikes down without forgiveness.

He certainly wasn’t without his problems. I hope with the next one they can get their s**t together over LGBTQ+ issues, especially, but I doubt that’ll happen.

Not inherently, but the church starts looking for 'miracles' to ascribe to them in order to justify sainting them.
