i like som christian textes but shops are closed today and i think it has something to do with a branch of christianity that is made up, i believe that the bible is a good read

I'm not sure there's a branch of Christianity that isn't made up.

Yep, I mean people have been looking for concrete evidence to back this stuff up for literally thousands of years at this point and they haven't made any headway at all.

People can believe what they like, but people shouldn't be pretending like it's weird to not believe things that have no evidence of any support backing them. Especially when there are competing ideas that also lack any actual supporting evidence.

I'm not religious, so if I was to celebrate Easter it would be for Spring, but I don't care for Spring personally, so I don't celebrate it and am meh to it. I want to go back to the late autumn and winter.

I really dislike Easter.

I watched Easter Parade.

Apparently it used to be a thing for couples to walk together down an avenue, the woman showing off her Easter bonnet.

Easter aka Resurrection day, is the day that Jesus was miraculously raised from the dead.

It is an important day for Christians.

I hate Easter. Every Sunday is Easter for me because I am church of Christ.

I've always been surprised that the fundamentalists haven't tried banning eggs and bunnies in the same way they think that Santa Claus is ruining Christmas for them. Maybe we should start saying "Happy Spring" to annoy them.

Fundies are selectively ignorant when it comes to the historical significance of Easter or Christmas. Christian sects have largely made up their own rules and beliefs.
