Stopped taking Seroquel because it caused weight gain. The doctor was going to write a prescription for further repeats but I was like, oh I'm not taking that anymore, I'm sleeping fine without it.

It was a small dose anyway.

I don't follow my doctors & psychiatrists advice for lifestyle modifications like being more active & eating more healthy. I try sometimes but in my own way by making minor modifications. I have various reasons for struggling with that.

I also take some prescription meds that I don't have a prescription for. It's nothing that's restricted or addictive. The meds are for chronic issues & I'm not able to get the meds prescribed because the doctors don't like prescribing those meds. Other treatments offered have not been effective or the treatments the docs want me to try are not covered by my health insurance due to their costs. The issues majorly affect me but it seems like my docs do not take some of them seriously &/or they just do not know what else to do for me but still dismiss my med ideas. I do LOTS of research before trying on my own & I trust the source I get those meds from. I strongly support the right for adults to make their own individual health care decisions.
