what do you think of disney star wars?

I enjoyed force awakens I thought "oh yep, there hitting me with nostaligia and that's ok I'm enjoying it." the next two movies were like a fever dream for me.

So far I've found the tv shows pretty good I haven't watched all of them. There is a quality to the George Lucas films we might not see again

They've put too much focus on pandering and making the fans the enemy for criticizing the overabundant pandering that I will never bring myself to watch any of it.

I couldn't care less. I've only watched the first three movies and that was a very long time ago, when I still liked watching movies. Back when the first movie was still just called "Star Wars". Now I don't know how anyone keeps track of all these prequel sequel threequel eightquel nonsense.

Although it does remind me a lot of the lyrics to the 1985 Weird Al song "Yoda", which I've listened to many times:

Well, I heard my friends have really got in a mess
So I'm gonna have to leave Yoda, I guess
But I know I'll be coming back someday
I'll be playing this part till I'm old and grey
The long-term contract I had to sign
