Not many meetup groups interest me. What do I do now?

When I've searched on Meetup, the groups I come across within 2 or 5 miles of where I live, are just quiz or drinks nights in a pub. There is a "readaholics" club and some paranormal night event that looks interesting but it's not really given me the itch to want to go and see them. Some of them are late in the evening when I'd be at home by that time. I've seen things that coffee shops do where they get people to sit and meet people but I've seen a video where someone got a coffee and sat waiting and no one came along except a barista. I also seem to think I'm quite picky about people I would like to meet, I aspire to meet others that are young like me and not so much older than me. I'm sorry if that sounds harsh but that's how it feels. Even when I've sat in coffee shop anyway hardly anyone speaks to me. I feel like I've got little options left, I never liked going to clubs and bars, I feel picky about things on Meetup, most of which don't interest me.

How did you go about searching Meetup?

For example, did you try entering "autistic" or "neurodivergent" in the search bar, to see if you can find a relevant support group? Did you try entering "young adult" in the search bar, to see if you can find groups or events for young adults? Did you try entering some hobby of yours in the search bar?
