Hello!
I only discovered this site a few minutes ago. I'm not formally diagnosed with anything but I check oh so many boxes that the formal diagnosis would seem mere formality. ADHD for certain; I'm not sure about anything autism spectrum-related. When I last checked (like, a month ago) having a psychiatrist perform an autism spectrum test is expensive, and I really don't know if I'd get much out of it other than relative certainty that I have it, so I'm not sure I'll ever do it.
I see there are already posts related to joint hypermobility and being neurodivergent (along with anxiety and GI issues), so the correlation isn't news to anyone, but I tuned into a webinar last week via ADDITUDE with a Dr. Jessica Eccles and it was illuminating. Not a smoking gun, but I found it fascinating.
I should have read other people's intros to see what they said. I don't what what I'm supposed to say here. I think I'm already in TMI territory.
If there's such thing as a reliable self test for ASD, please point me to it, thank you. The internet of full of silliness and I don't know what to trust.
Nice to be here. I hope you all have a super day!
