To calculate the Major Arcana card that rules an individual's entire year you basically add their birthday to the current year and keep adding till you end up with a number under 22.

Donald Trump was born on June 14th.

14 + 6 + 2025 = 2045

20 + 45 = 65

6 + 5 = 11

11 is the card of "Justice" in modern tarot, but in traditional tarot it's the card of "Strength". Either way I'd say Trump fits both cards this years in terms of the reversed meanings of both cards. Reversed Justice is about not facing the consequences of your crimes but also abusing the justice system to enact petty revenge (it's like upright she's Themsis the Goddess of "fair" justice but in reverse she is Nemesis the cruel Goddess of vengance and punishment). Also Strength is about endurance and using power gently but upright its more about unleashing the beast.

Joe Biden was born November 20th.

Add 20 + 11 + 2025 and you get 2056

20 + 56 = 76

7 + 6 = 13

13 is the "Death" card

Not only has he bee diagnosed with a terminal form of prostate cancer this year, but he also fits the reversed meaning of the Death card. Refusing to accept defeat and moving on. Death is about change, usually change that is unwanted but sometimes necessary for growth. Biden refused to let go in the end and accept that he was simply too old and his health was failing.

Kamala Harris' birthday is October 20th.

Add 20 + 10 + 2025 to get 2055

20 + 55 = 75

7 + 5 = 12

12 is "The Hanged Man". One of the meanings of this card is "surrender". It can also be a card of self-sacriface and prophetic vision, but in reverse it can mean ignorance and even suicide (political suicide?).

And finally Elon Musk was born on June 28th

28 + 6 + 2025 = 2059

20 + 59 = 79

7 + 9 = 16

Card number 16 is "The Tower". The card that means ruin and destruction. It's been a very terrible year for Musk no doubt. First falling out with Trump (and then being forced to come back to come back to Trump's good graces with his tail between his legs), and his Tesla empire seems to be crumbling as is SpaceX.

Funny thing about SpaceX and The Tower card, the card is loosely based on the story of the Tower of Babel. The one that humans tried so build so high that it could reach the heavens, but God felt the need to punish them for their hubris and not only did he destroy the tower but cursed humankind to where they spoke in different languages and could never again agree on how to rebuild the tower.

Musk wanted to build "human space colonies" out of a sense of hubris himself and it's ironic how his ambitions to do this have beem crushed by outside factors and the destruction of some of his own rocket ships.

Also The Tower might simply be a real fitting metaphor for the irreversable damage he has done to the US federal government through D.O.G.E.

Everyone knows that the City of Los Angeles is going through a very rough year between the wildfires that almost destroyed Hollywood to the current protests/riots against ICE.

So I looked up to see if I could find when L.A. was originally founded (September 4th 1781)

So if we add 9 + 4 + 2025 we get 2038

20 + 38 = 58

5 + 8 = 13

So this year the City of Angels is visited by the Angel of Death. They're going through a drastic change sweeping across the city from the fires to the protests. It's a time of turmoil for sure but something good has the potential to come out of all this misery.

Like using fire to clear away the tangled brush to make room for new growth.

Also the fact that even the wealthy celebrities had their homes destroyed by the fires shows how neither the rich nor the poor can escape Death's reach in the end.
