Hello,

I’m a 63-year-old autistic man living a very isolated life in the North East of England. I’ve spent most of my life in silence — caring for others, but never really having anyone close to me. I live with autism, depression, and long-term health problems.

I’ve never had a lasting emotional connection, and it’s something I still quietly long for — even now.

I’m not expecting anything grand. I’d just really value chatting with someone who understands what it’s like to be neurodivergent, alone, and older in a world that moves too fast.

If this resonates with you, I’d love to hear from you — even just to exchange a few kind words.

Thank you for reading.
– John

Hi John and welcome to WP. My experience is similar to yours. No friends, living from day to day with no sense of direction.
