I love the saints I do
I like Gabriel because he's a messenger
And I like Lucifer because he's The Morning Star and I like that but I don't like what happened to him

I like that the Saints are like other stories from myths and legends

If you have a favourite saint who is it and what's their story

Or you can just keep it yourself if you like

Babybird you are asking about Saints, did you use to be a Catholic?

Me- I like Saint Catherine of Siena. She did great work for the church and did great work on conflict resolution also. She had issues with food, but put her work for Christ first. I was baptised in a Catholic church named after her.

Also I like St Theresa of Avila-I see her as wickedly good at times. She was a courageous woman and did a lot of work for the church. She was unwell for three years and left the faith for a while and God called her back and she ended up becoming a saint. She loves holy water as well and said that the devil hates holy water more than the cross of Jesus Christ.

I also like Saint John of the Cross-he had mental health issues at times but had great faith. At times he used to throw all his things away and call himself a great sinner and roll in mud. He used to seek treatment and the treatment for mental health in those was cold water being thrown on you.

I also like Blessed Marcel Callo who suffered from depression and trauma.

I like Saint Joseph of Cupertino who could leviate and had as reported a learning disability.

I like Saint Thea Bowman she was a great black woman who did a lot to further activism work and rights and was couregous to the end battling cancer continued to do good work until the end of her life.

There are a few more to like Blessed Eustochium of Padua who had issues with her mental health who would get ill comments from some nuns for being different, but was a Holy woman.

I like Archangel Michael who deals defeating evil. He will cast Satan into hell in the Book of Revelations.

The saints lived real lifes and are real people. I have got the book called God Wildflowers-Saints with disabilities by Pia Matthews which I really do like and helped me come to terms with being neurodiverse and suffering from an eating disorder.

In the church of Christ we have a different understanding of Saints than the Roman Catholic Church....we believe all members are Saints so I am my own favorite saint.

I'm not sure about that Lucifer. There's something slightly diabolic about him.

I avoid looking into evil forces using my own research. Now, I thought that Lucifier although not clearly stated in the Bibe was meant to be a fallen angel that is now a worker of Satan and darkness that plans wicked plans for humans in life. He went to the line up with angels in Heaven after being fallen and he was rejected from the line up.

There are many angels you could over write that one with if you so wanted to.Sometimes it may be hard to know some are evil like that daughter of blasphemy in the Revelations who was drunk on saints blood and martyrs blood. She sounded like a holy woman who was just twisted-but no she is not Holy.

No I'm not a catholic
I wasn't introduced to religion in my life but my stepmother was a bit weird when it can to religion

I just like the stories

I didn't know it had anything to do with Catholicism really

I thought it was for everyone like all the other myths and stuff

I like watching Supernatural so that's why I like them

I have noticed that some christians are calling themselves Saints outside of the traditional use of the word. I think those who may have heaven out of this group that they may be all Saints.

However, Catholics to be approved have to go through a deep process to arrive at this. Their bodies have to not decay for some years and this is called beautification, then someone will need a miracle in their name called upon from heaven. Their whole life will be evaulated and it has to be very convincing why they be awarded this. So to past these tests is very difficult and some may only be made a Blessed instead of a Saint. Most will have led severed lives in the community dedicated their lives to God and being victim souls themselves.
