I'm newly discovered ND adult of 43 and am happy that I am getting some relief from the social pressure I have always felt. Lotta of layers to peal back, but hopefully no more utter confusion. WOW! it is like I finally got 'permission' to enjoy being alone and not feel guilty for not worshiping someone else's ideas of what my time is to be used for. Thanks for being here everyone.

Yes, there is a lot of pressure not to be different.

I like playing golf because of the diversity one finds on a municipal golf course.
What counts is whether you can play or not. It doesn't take long to figure out who can play and who can't.

You can play by yourself as a single for join up with partners.
It is appreciated when you let faster golfers "play though" so you can enjoy playing by yourself at your pace.
