Girlfriend from almost 50 years ago followed me on Instagram

I posted about my relationship with her a number of times in the past. I am almost certain she was/is autistic, however back in the day she wouldn't have been diagnosed.



In April, I noticed she was following me on Instagram. Her account isn't private, but she has never posted anything there. She may think I don't know who she is, because it would be reasonable for her to think I don't know her married name.



It's really strange to have somebody in my past show up in this very low-key way. I wonder if this has happened to anybody else?

At least now I know she hasn't forgotten me. I don't recall the exact date of her birthday, but it was in early April around the time she started following me. Last April would have been her 70th birthday, so maybe that milestone inspired her to think about her past.

Also nobody else from my past has ever done something like this.
