Even though I'm in my 30s, it feels as though I'm still somewhere in my 20s or late teens because I still work only 2 or 3 days a week, still live with a parent and don't own a house, still unmarried with no children etc. I'm constantly feeling inside my head that everyone of my generation (millennials (1981-96) is far ahead of me even those who perhaps younger than me who maybe have just turned 30.

It feels like everyone has achieved everything in life, works more full time than me and lives in a place of their own. Some of them did the things I've mentioned maybe 10 or 20 years ago. These thoughts are refusing to go away. Despite being told a number of times I'm not the only one, it still doesn't really reassure me and still feel alone.

Me neither, I'm a teenager in my forties.
