If you are an Episcopalian, do you think there should be an Anglican Covenant, a statement that all participants in the Anglican Communion must sign in order to be considered in the communion?

IMO Although this statement would not specifically condemn homosexuality, it would probably be used to oppress homosexuals in the church in the name of not straining the "bonds of affection" as has already been done in the name of the Windsor Report. It would just be more permanent. I think that it would be a shame and very unfortunate if Anglicans adopted such a Covenant because it would probably lead to more division not more unity. Like a prenuptial agreement, it would be formed in the name of unity to make inevitable separation easier.
