Hi,
I'm new to the forum, so I thought I'd introduce myself. I'm Astrid, aged 21 and liv ein the Netherlands. I was diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder last March. IN addition, I am blind.

I liv eon my own, with support from an agency for the disabled. I'm in college, a freshman majorin gin linguistics. IN my spare tiem, I usually hang around online. I also like writing. My interests constantly change, so that's hard to tell. Well anyway, if you have questions/comments feel free to ask/say.

I am always facinated by people that have impared vision (please dont be offended I am not trying to embarrass or hurt you) I just have this immense amount of respect and curiosity about how they process the world, I have the a similar obsession with twins.
Do you feel that your other senses are heightened due to your blindness? and if so how and did they increase proportionally as your vision decreased?
