I've read a story on the Internet a few years ago about a young man who thought he was a Vampire. He murdered an older woman, and then he carved cross-like slits into her knees and than drank the blood. I couldn't stop laughing, because I thought it was funny.

I am doing pretty well, though I don't have any powers yet. Do you have any?

I have Second-Sight, Cerility, and Shadows.

Tim_p and ilikedragons, are you intending on keeping up consistently with this game? Because if you are, then I can talk to my clan, Die Nachthexen, about inviting you into it. Would either of you be interested???

(I shall inform you of what else is entailed with joining the clan with a "yes" :D -- Dont' worry. Nothing binding. This is a good thing.)

hmmm...

prometheus, even though you were joking, you may well be interested in part of my thesis (which i'm trying to write up into an academic paper) about the congruence between characteristics of the image of the witch, and characteristics of someone with AS. the degree of congruence is scary. 8O

one bit which got me was that an awkward gait (an oft-mentioned characteristic of AS) was a sign of a connection with the Underworld/otherworld. (it's in Carlo Ginzburg's "Ecstasies", if you want the reference).

I have a gay, Jewish friend who is obsessed with finding out about a possible historic link between being labeled a "witch" in olden times and being lesbian.

He's a quirky guy, hehe. Though he puts forth some very good points.

there are links there too, sophist. basically, witches were social deviants (in the sociological sense of the word, which encompasses sexuality, but is not sexual in its totality).
