re.strange.
don't think collecting phone books is strange in anyway at all, collections is just another thing that makes the ASDer unique.
am know of a young kanners autie in manchester who collects post boxes [the big ones] and the royal mail even made one just for him,a male MR+LFAer am used to live with collects photos of toilets, and likes hugging toilets [would collect them if he could drag them up from the floor] and also collects autotrader for the pictures of cars,an LFA lady am used to live with collected leaflets from anywhere, they ended up drugging it out of her though,am collected dead moths as a child, and now collect feathers.
loads of auties and aspies have non traditional collections.

do not have a yellow pages to send as the one here is for the whole home, and parents only have one copy as well, they throw out old ones quick, will see if sister has a spare one,it'd be a bolton one if they have their own one and don't come under manchester.

do yellow pages not offer to send them?

The companies offer to send them for 75 dollars each and Don does not have that kind of money. He works part time at Walmart's pushing carts around. I am typing for him because he does not have the coordination nor a computer. He doesn't care if the phone book is last year's.

Oh, and the list of cities I typed are not the only ones he wants. My hands got tired of typing. He'll take phone books from anyplace. Thank you all for your kindness.

There's a Humboldt County, California phonebook (with yellow pages) on it's way to Don as of today.

Hope he likes it! It was the new one they threw on my porch with a LOUD THUD! 8O :D

How about Milwaukee, WI? I'll send one for Christmas :) Gotta wait until I find one though.

Oh yeah, as far as weird collections go, I collect business cards from almost everywhere I go.

I wonder what another server will cost. I tried to add to this post yesterday and could not.
Anyway, THANK YOU MSMAC! Don was very happy to receive the Humboldt county phonebook from you. He now has 348 telephone books. His collection is neatly stacked in shelves along one wall of his apartment.

Happy to help! :D

Please just make sure he doesn't have an avalanche and get buried by all those phone books! 8O
