I was going to ask how good the security (hacker and crash and virus-proofedness) is here... just because I had to ask!

The search would be my number one priority. Anything that involves querying other than normal browsing. I would want a good search. It doesn't have to be super quick, but accurate and for every search to return results that you can access freely.

I would also check if there are any outstanding security issues/updates. There are a couple of known exploits in some versions of phpbb and of course php itself.

Nice changes to the titles... I'd suggest you might also try adding:

Code:
<link rel="icon" href="images/favicon.ico" type="image/x-icon" />
<link rel="shortcut icon" href="images/favicon.ico" type="image/x-icon" />
just after the title line, in overall_header.tpl (assuming that's what it's called), and of course, stick an appropriate tiny "favicon.ico" 16x16 image in the images directory. E.g. (merely cut from your banner) Image.
There are a few other places you can insert similar lines, but that's the main one.

Also, sort out the pair of profile update pages. It's always a pain to have the avatar upload complain that the sig is too long.

I can't think of any major changes, as it's all too good. (I'm trying for super-sycophantic there - how did I do?)

:) and thanks.

Now I'm confused. Did the favicon come via telepathy?

So it's really a PNG instead of an ICO file, so what. If a browser can't handle that, get a real browser.

Nice one. Many thanks. I can now see at a glance which of my 30 tabs is the WP one (2, 3 or more).

All I need to do now is to persuade Google, Ubuntu, OED, and so on to follow suit!

(PS. I still prefer my(your) head. The blue/green blob isn't as distinctive.)

A short while ago Alex posted that he was experimenting with new avatar sizes....
I'm wondering if he is going to go ahead with this.

I vote against that. The avatar size seems pretty good to me. I find sites that allow huge avatars to be fairly content-free. Also, avatars take space on the server. An average member probably posts less in messages than they get space for their avatar, already.

I'd like to see us like all the other forums I've ever seen...automatically taking you back to your post (without having to manually click on View Message or Return To Forum), and having markers for threads you've posted in.

What happened to those two forums, one for guys and one for girls? I remember them being there like a year and a half ago. :)

The search brought back to it's normal self, along with blocking of certain addresses in BBSCode scripts. I also want one of the forums (either the Computer,Science and Tech forum or the Games, Sport and Fitness forum) explicitly stated for video games.

Please please please have a range of forum colour schemes to offer. A darker skin option for the forum would be helpful, as the green and blue is too bright for some users.

I like a raucous bit of fun myself.
This is especially valuable in determining
if a mod's online, to report something to.

Fixing the mods group to only include those
who are would help too.

And search would be nice to have back.
Not that many people use it, I fear.
