This is kinda a dumb question but I'm just wondering, in revelations after its all is said in done Christ takes over and is in control of the world for 1000 years or so I'm told. My question is what happens after that, does everyone just go to heaven or what happens. I don't know a lot about the subject so forgive my ignorance.

After the second Christ's spectacular conquest of the world, he will reign for a thousand years (which could mean billions of considering that there's a bible verse that says a day is a thousand years to god) . Then Satan will be loosed again and there will be one last great battle. Then paradise will arrive and Satan will be thrown into a lake of fire. There are many, many possible interpretations of this.

Because it was all written in an old book, it must be true.
Wait a second . . . how will Satan be killed if he is thrown into a lake of fire? If he has been in hell longer than anyone else, wouldn't he be dead by now if fire can kill him?
Oh who cares, this is the bible, it doesn't have to make any sense or have any logic or proof. Just shut up, stop thinking, and pray for your wicked soul!

That's what your scared of. You haven't presented any logical arguments, calandale and Yoggy Sofo. You're just angry and bitter because Christianity is the largest religion in the world, despite all you wicked people have done to destroy it. And when you try, it only grows stronger! Christians do not fear torture, death, or anything you can do, because they are, and always will be, stronger than people without convictions.

A classic display of religious ignorance. Satan is not in hell. He is on earth, tempting all of us. He is the reason for all the genocides, for all the Islamic killings, for all wars and woes. And the idea that hell is a literal place of real, physical fires just proves that you have no God-given understanding.

By the way, Calandale, I don't see how you could hate God so much when you are much worse than he is. I remember in one thread you said Genocide was OK against inferior species, or something like that, in the Jewish thread. And you are cruel with your words, caring not for any other's feelings. Besides the fact that you have unrestrained sex all the time, but that is the least of your transgressions.

Christianity has broken up into the various denominations tho, many declaring that the other sects are damned to hell for believing the wrong thing. I'm taking a world religions class with mostly protestant and catholics and they sit on opposite sides of the room and grumble among themselves about each other. I think thats probably more damaging to Christianity then all the anti-Christians combined. So much for love one another.

It probably is. I don't condemn any sect of Christianity. I think they are all united.

I think the whole Protestant/Catholic debate is stupid. Protestantism is a simple form of Christianity. Catholocism is a Roman form of Christianity with lots of special rules.

Anyone who takes any spiritual text from any source literally in it's entirety is a fool, texts are incomplete, they are tied to temporal dialect and political considerations, they are relative to completely unmentioned prehistory and are usually written by somewhat nutty visionary types who like to come across all impressive and authoritative.

Dont call me wicked because I cannot believe your fairy tales, I was raised catholic but I couldn't buy it anymore when I got older and smarter and the more I thought about it, the less it all made sense. Quoting the bible has no effect on me, its just a book that a lot of old people wrote. Who the hell are these people? Where you there when they wrote it? How can you trust them? How do you know anything they wrote is true? You have nothing to back up your beliefs, so dont prosecute me because I chose to stick with logic and common sense. You are afraid to be proven wrong, so you dont actually read anything anybody says to you, I've dealt with enough people like you to know that when I see it.
Do you have any idea how many different religions and cults and mythologies there have been in history? Thousands, if not more, but yours is the only right one? Because you have the bible? Mormons have their own book, Scientologists have their own book, Greek and Norse and Egyptian mythology all have their own books, but the bible is the only right one? How can you say your god is real and all the others were just made up? Do you think you must be right because christianity is the most popular religion? Anyway, if Satan is not in hell, then who is in charge of hell? It must not be so terrible if nobody is running the place and you can do whatever you want. Sounds better than heaven to me. Without temptations or anything, you wont need to get up to go to the bathroom, you wont need to blink or eat or drink, you wont need to do anything, so everybody would just be standing still doing nothing.
According to you militant angry christians, all my friends and family will be in hell because god is vengeful and hateful and everyone who is not a complete slave to god their whole life will go to hell, where apparently you can do whatever you want instead of standing still. God makes satan look like a pretty nice guy according to people like you.
