I could barely stand watching 5 seconds of that

I watched both parts and find it fascinating and very scary
anyone else want to try and tell me how it's a good thing must be some fundies here

Wow. I was actually raised in a fundamentalist Christian tradition, (which I didn't hang onto). Our "Conventions" were bad enough but WOW!! That was something. Brainwashing is something I am familiar with, but that was phenomenal . The Gestapo would have been impressed.

So the next time we accuse a christian of child abuse we must explain that we are referring to labeling the child as christian, brainwashing, teaching of lies, sodomy and psychological damage?

Obviously these are extremists, I'm pretty sure a lot of christians disapprove them, and they would agree this being child abuse and brainwashing.

Wow reminds me of the people who I have religions of the world class, obviously to an extreme tho. Global warming is a myth because the bible doesn't say about it. Autism is fake because the bible doesn't say it exists, its just people faking it. If your not Christian you shouldn't be living (by living I mean alive anywhere period) in the US.

No indeed they shouldn't. I wonder if this lot believes in beating children too. I'm not against Christianity as such, just fundamentalist christianity.

I believe almost any religion can make you a better person, or it can make you worse person.

Unfortunately I'm thinking that the people in the videos are more likely to create abortion clinic bombers them Mother Teresas.

Can you even imagine growing up in such an environment then going into the real world with that attitude hope they all stick together or they are in for a big shock

when i first watched that, i had to take a break in the middle because i was so sickened by the abuse going on.

I watched the whole movie with my daughter... she prayed for me to send her to Jesus Camp... I wanted to go but they said I was too old, too liberal, too gender-confused, too wishy-washy, too everything! So I didn't send my girl... She's just like me!(well, except for the gender thing)

We did watch the movie. I had heard about it on NPR.
Luckily my daughter DID NOT ask to go to Jesus Camp!

I agree that is was scary!

Those people (wacko fundie freaks) all need to die and I'd say the children are to far gone with the brainwashing to regain more that 10 % brain function EVER.

I'm scared to watch it. So I didn't. But I'm sure it's pretty awful.
