I would turn clockwise, I'm right handed, and I saw it going clockwise.

It is possible to make her change direction at will, even so that she never makes a full rotation.

Look at her leg that's lifted up, keep focused on it. When the leg moves to the side and is about to come around, think of the leg sweeping in front of her, closer to you everytime. Back and forth. Keep focused on the leg, the leg is always closest to you. It never moves behind the other leg.

I haven't voted yet, because I don't know which one to vote for. When I first looked at it, it was moving clockwise. I stared at it and I was able to make it change directions. Then I made it change back to clockwise again. I just kept starring and making it change direction for several minutes. I noticed I could do that to turning images a couple years back. It's very interesting. I can't describe how I do it, but I can just ... I dunno ... it's almost a feeling. It's weird. :S

She goes half way round and then changes direction, continuously alternating.

What does that mean? 8O

It was good to read about the origin of this dancer.

I finally succeded in seing the dancer spinning counterclockwise, when I scrolled so I could only see the lower half, and then fixed my eyes, not at the figure but at a point a few inches below it, and also using my will.
Maybe that will help someone else too, that really wants to but have a very hard time make her spin counterclockwise.

Yeah, that was interesting.

And now she is rocking back and forth. At least she's moving this time.

I'm seeing clockwise.
It's nice to finally know a small bit about the left/right-brain differences idea.

Anti-clockwise, then clockwise, then anti-clockwise, and so on. I'm ambidextrous, so I still have no idea which side I use.

My mum has a tshirt which says "right-handed ppl use the left side of their brains. Therefore, all left-handed ppl are in their right minds."
