I've heard a little about Real ID - it is basically a federally certified state ID (driver's license for most people). It is to keep us safe from terrorists and illegal aliens, and has been demanded by the frightened people and served up by the 2005 Congress and Bush Admin. There is an expectation that certain places will require either a real ID or passport as identification - airports, voting, verification of eligibility to work, etc.

thats fine if you girls like that crap in europe. (i know you dont live in europe quartermass) but i think its the states responsibility to issure identification/drivers lisence. not the federal governments job

this is the list of states that already made laws saying they will not take part into the real id act

At least four other states - including South Carolina, Maine, New Hampshire and Montana - have enacted laws to prohibit them from complying with the law.

hm. maines cost of living is outragoues, so its either gonna be new hamphire or montana for me

and why wasnt there any public debate about this? they attached it to a war bill. i wonder why

i'll tell you why they attached it to a war bill with no debate, because they knew nobody would go for it. sneaky ass b*****s they can tell me whatever. states will have to comply because you will not be able to do any official business with the government if you do not have this new id. the government will not requignize you if you do not have it. it sais you cant open a bank account without it, well i cant open one anyways but still. it is worrysome

i got my id in 2003. i still have it and plan on using it FOREVER

It'll be about 2012 or 2013 when it hits. If enough people support Ron Paul we might possibly be able to delay it. Theyr trying to put Hillary Clinton into office next, she seems to be the NWO's golden girl.
But this is a move to try and put a new spin on the right/left paradigm among society. We have a republican president and lefties are pissed, we put a democrat in office and right wingers are pissed. It's their move to build tension and division among us.

We don't have "states" in the United Kingdom.

Indeed we don't. I often refer to "the state" and by that mean the government and its associated control infrastructure, I wonder if that can cause confusion when communicating with our friends across the Atlantic?

you know girls i thought the UK and england were two different counties! how wack is that? anyways how do you guys like the EU over there? i hear you dont like it. was it a mistake joining?

while we are on the subject of f-upt situations lets talk about how trade always unites counties together, isnt that how the EU formed? through some trade treaty

so then that way you dont have to get the publics approval to unite your counties everything is so intergrrated it doesnt matter what they say

i see the same exact thing happening over here, hopefully it will never hapen but i doubt it

I'll put it like this, Richard: if your buddy George could spare a few cruise missiles to take out this place, then us Brits would be eternally grateful.
