Aspie/NT relationships

I think a new forum for those in Aspie/NT relationships would be a good idea.

My daughter has joined a support group for such marriages. The group in this case is made up of NTs who intend to stay married to the aspie partner.

Tony Attwood attended the first group and was surprised how needy the nt's were. He now intends to attend every second one and send a psychologist to those he misses - free of charge!

For WP I think that both Aspies and NTs discuss their needs and help one another out.

I think that would fit in nicely wherever family, relationships, and marriage are discussed. I've been thinking about this lately myself, about the fact that it's not quite clear where it would be best to discuss general family topics and issues. The Love & Dating forum seems geared more toward those who are seeking a relationship or do not yet have a permanent committment like marriage. It's supposed to be about relationships in general, but only rarely do I see a married person create a thread. The In-Depth Adult Life Discussion forum seems like a good place to discuss grown-up family issues, but it is not clearly labeled as such.

I'm wondering if perhaps the forum description for one of those two forums could benefit from an addition about being the proper place to discuss marriage and long-term relationships as well. Currently the married (or whatever) type folks are confused about where to post threads related to those relationships.

Ideas, anyone? What does Alex think?
