Definatly would enjoy meeting people on here, I have always wanted a friend who had an ASD! More understanding of the issues that we face I suppose.

It would be best if we had many small groups first, that way their is no need to leave the country, different nationalities can meet in certain places, perhapse a center point and go from their. It would be a good party, less social stress.

When in doubt, ask an autistic. Chances are, they're obsessed with what you need to know.

Autism Speaks will NEVER speak for me

I have met one person in person from WP and we have enjoyed ourselves immensely when we get together. We even did a little Christmas shopping together.

Is anyone from Indiana. It's about the same for me to go to Muncie, Kokomo, Indy, or Fort Wayne.

That's it, get political! hahaha. The fact that some people actually make money on their obsessions throws me for a loop. :?

I work for an express air company, so I'd fly anywhere...England, Dubai, Katmandu...name it.

Jeeze... I highly doubt any of us are rich. I think some of us do well in life, im fortunatly to be one of those people, but all of us have very limited resources just like the rest of working class people, the middle class.

I think if something like this were to occure, and I like the idea about meeting up in NJ, but I think everyone would have to provide their own means. Sorry bro!

am would like to meet other easy going WPers next year if anyone would like a WP meet up in Manchester [UK],am don't have great speech when it's there, but would like the 'just being there' aspect of a meetup.
It would also make foruming more real as well by meeting those who post here.

Also, does anyone here go to the national autistic societies' Anglo house or Victoria house day centres?
Am wondering because am going to be starting there when settled into new place, have already had a tour of them and will be going in Victoria house.

I'd like to meet you! :D Of course, it would help if we lived in the same country, but still! :P

And KingdomOfRats, a meetup next year would be a great idea, I think. :) I live near Liverpool, so I could probably get to Manchester fairly easily.

I would not be opposed to meeting WP people IRL. NOT in a bar, though.

I've thought that if I could win a big lottery I would travel North America first, arranging group meets for folks here in each state (oh.. and Canada  ... oh, and Mexico!), then work my way overseas.
I could also fund WP on a yearly basis.

Guess I should start buying those California Lottery tickets! Can't win if you don't play! That's what they say anyway
