I don't understand why scientists keep trying to splice animal gentics to make them glow. Why glowing animals? What good does that do for ANYBODY?

If you read the article you'll find that the glow in the dark thing is just a side effect.

why can't they create something useful...like........oh I don't know....

maybe a metamorphic type being.

Why don't they just stop messing with nature before they do something that really harms us all (if they haven't already, as I believe they have... GMO...)?! *angry faces*

I read this on the Siamese cat site I'm on. This is really sick! Someone should make this guy glow and see how he likes it.

I was being sarcastic Kabe, but you make an excellent point. the last thing we do want is something akin to either the Star Gate Replicators, or the Star Trek Founders.
