Last night, my mom came to this brilliant conclusion that Sociology plays a role in how Autism or AS is handled or treated. I think the 'sociology', or the culture, religion, class, family style, and/or school life means the environment in which the autistic person comes from. In psychology, this is the 'nature' and 'nurture' of the Nature vs. Nurture idea. I'm curious about what you guys out there think. Do you really believe that the environment plays a key role in handling or treating Autism?
