.. Sometime every night, when the balcony door was left open, a cat enters the house.
It seem not to mind that I let it know that I had noticed it's presence, save for a brief eye contact. Unless I had provoked it, it didn't ran away or froze on it's spot.
It didn't seem to fear human presence, and not even the dog that has been kept downstairs. It doesn't seem to be anyone else's cat.
Yes, a dog, even with it's hyperactive playfulness for being immature, didn't seem to react much on the cat's invading presence.
It doesn't seem to make any mess, nor did any left anything to clean up.
We had no idea what the cat was doing here every night when everyone's asleep. So far all I noticed is that it hangs around the stairs, or on the floor. Never seen doing it anything else other than just laying around.
I just let it be, and of course anyone else in the household wouldn't allowed this.
Then if I remain awake until morning, the cat just leaves before sunrise, through the very same door it went from.
I tried to change it's course of action by closing the door before it leaves. The cat just stops and turns away back downstairs, doing who knows what. Probably laying around, maybe hiding until there's a way out.
I'm not exactly allowed to keep a cat as a pet, even though I wanted to. All because my mom disagrees with cat poop. And doesn't mind dog's poop even if it's all over the place.
That doesn't stop me from letting any cat in the house.
